The dogs on a walk with Pippa  The main service we provide is day care, and as part of that day care our canine guests also get a walk. If your dog just needs looking after for a brief period, but without a walk, please refer to "ad hoc" care. Our day care, (with a walk), ranges from four hours to twelve hours with prices varying accordingly. Actual walk time is flexible. An hour would be average but sometimes, on a fine day, we might be out for two hours. On the other hand, if weather conditions are extreme, then the walk may be shortened. We generally pick up dogs from their homes but you are welcome to drop off your dog if you prefer. We accept drop-offs between 6:30am - 9:30am. To get an idea of your options please take a look at the prices page

A dog having an ear examination at the vet's If your pet needs to be taken to the vets or the groomers but you can't be around or don't have a car, we can take them for you. Your pet will be accompanied in your absence and a report made of the relevant details. Prior to the journey, your dog will be given a ten-minute toilet break. Once home again we will ensure that your pet is settled, safe and comfortable before leaving.

Happy dog having a tummy rub This option is for those times when you just need to pop out for an hour or two and want to be free of worry whilst you are out. If you have a friend or family member who can help out, that's great. However, that isn't always an option, and that is why I offer this service. Just drop your dog off on the way, and then you can visit the doctor, hairdressers or do some shopping, without stressing. Options start from £5 for two hours. See care calculator.

A dog with owner Prior to your initial service we will schedule a meet and greet. This may be a visit to your home, a walk round the park with your dog or a visit to our home. This gentle introduction will let us get to know one other a little. If during this visit you decide to use our services, we can discuss the details of your requirements. There is, of course, no charge for a meet and greet. If your dog is a little nervous or has never been left before, then a trial session can be very helpful. This way your dog can start a friendship with other doggy regulars whilst familiarising themselves with our home and garden, and being transported.

A dog inside the vehicle Part of the fun of going on a walk is the anticipation. The dogs are not in a darkened van so they can recognise where they are, and as we get close to the park they get very excited. The dogs travel in a light and airy vehicle with air-conditioning. The caged-off areas are matted for comfort and the dogs can enjoy a view of the world through the windows. The dogs' environment is constantly monitored for temperature levels on warmer days. Water bowls are checked before every journey. Emergency measures are in place should a vehicle break down.

A doggy guest at homeFrom a fourteen hour sleepover to long-term boarding. This service is normally reserved for regulars, however, in an emergency, we will try to be accommodate others if we can. Dogs coming to stay will need to be house-trained and relatively cat-friendly. Whilst with us, your pet will get plenty of love and attention, the same as they would at home. Pack a few things food
a bed or blanket
a brush
a toy or ball

so that we have everything we need to help your friend settle in. They will have a walk every day, (maybe two walks, depending on conditions). Special diets can be accommodated.
